Service, Highest Form of Worship

4 Hours, 4 Humans

Today, health and education for all are the biggest challenges facing modern society. But if all of us come together, these challenges will vanish within one generation. One easy solution is to dedicate a small part of your life towards volunteering. Let’s say, every week you contribute 4 hours of your valuable time to attend to the medical needs of any 4 people – it could be your family member, neighbor, relative, or someone at your doctors’ clinic, or at a nearby hospital.

In the beginning, every form of volunteering feels challenging, sometimes even ungrateful. But gradually, you will find it to be a rewarding and fulfilling journey. While inculcating patience and perseverance, watching humans benefit from your service will be a deeply satisfying experience. All in all, you will see how service does good to both, the giver and the receiver.

Seva Sena’s Role

Please contact us if you need any assistance regarding skill development, orientation, or any other guidance during volunteering. When attending to people, talk to them about their health issues, particular needs, medical records, and Social Security System (SSS).

Our nation has a shortage of funds to provide adequate healthcare to all. Over 97% of the Indian population cannot even pay their income tax, and yet they have similar or even more healthcare needs, such as medical, obstetrical, pediatric, emergency, trauma, surgical etc. By learning some simple skill-sets, even medically unqualified people can provide risk-free care and attend to some basic medical needs of many humans.
